Founded in 2016, Center of Deliverance is an Apostolic/Pentecostal church serving the Edgewater, Florida community.
How We Began
Center of Deliverance was founded in 2016 as an Apostolic/Pentecostal church rooted in Edgewater, Florida. From our earliest days, our calling has been to worship God in Spirit and in truth, to walk in faith together as a church family, and to serve the community around us.

Our Mission
We are a kingdom operation, desiring to carry out the instruction, teaching, and commandments that God has given us — operating in the manner that is well pleasing in the sight of God, as earnest contenders for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Our Vision
The gospel is the good news about a King, His Kingdom, and His royal family. The Kingdom existed before the earth; it was created for you so that you may carry out the assignment of the Kingdom — that we would inherit the Kingdom prepared from the foundation of the world, made kings and priests unto our God.
What We Believe
We continue in the same theological climate as the Apostles, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone — and the gates of hell shall not prevail against His church.
Preamble
We the undersigned, desiring to form a kingdom operation to carry out the instruction, teaching and commandments that God has given us, operating in the manner that is well pleasing in the sight of God. We are earnest contenders “for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints”; however we do not lay exclusive claim to being the only part of the original and continuation of the same, but we gladly share claim and communion with those of like faith. To them that have obtained like faith with us through our Savior Jesus Christ, grace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of Jesus our Lord … and besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue.
The Center of Deliverance Church is continuing in the same theological climate as the Apostles, in our interpretation and application of the scriptures — “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone” (Eph. 2:20). We insist that no denomination, congregation, or church, regardless of its history, is the strongest evidence of the indestructibility of Jesus Christ's church. To the words of our Lord, “upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18).

Our Community
Center of Deliverance is a family of believers committed to worshiping God, growing in His Word, walking in faith, and serving our community in Edgewater and the surrounding area.
Our Leadership
Bishop Elect Christopher L. Hill
Bishop Elect Christopher L. Hill was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, to Barbara Hill and James Hill. He graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School in 1994 and continued his education as a student-athlete at Santa Barbara City College from 1994–1995. He later attended North Carolina Central University from 1996–1998 on an athletic scholarship.
In 1996, Bishop Elect Hill gave his life to the Lord and answered the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ that same year. Since then, his faith and commitment to God have remained the foundation of his life, family, ministry, and service.
In 1999, he married his beloved wife, Nzinga Hill, and together they are blessed with three children: Nia Hill, Christopher Hill, and William Hill. His family continues to be an important part of his life and ministry.
Bishop Elect Hill has devoted many years to serving and protecting his community. He served as a police officer from 2004–2011 and later served as a Lieutenant in armed security under a federal government contract from 2012–2017. He also served as a supervisor with the United States Postal Service. In 2016, he began plastering work in Jacksonville, Florida, further developing his skills in business and entrepreneurship.
In 2019, Bishop Elect Hill and his family moved to Edgewater, Florida, where he continued his pastoral ministry and community service. He is the pastor of Center of Deliverance Church, where he is committed to reaching people through the Word of God, prayer, faith, deliverance, and the love of Jesus Christ.
Bishop Elect Hill is also an entrepreneur and the owner of Hill's Chicken & Waffles in Edgewater, Florida. Through ministry, business, and community service, he continues to demonstrate leadership and a heart for people.
Center of Deliverance Church is affiliated with the International Council of Pentecostal Ministries (ICOPM), under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Darion White.
The life of Bishop Elect Christopher L. Hill is a testimony of faith, perseverance, leadership, family, service, and obedience to the call of God. His journey demonstrates how God can use every season of a person's life — their education, career, experiences, challenges, and accomplishments — to prepare them for divine purpose.
